Hospice Billing/Payroll Assistant
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Concho Hearts Hospice is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Billing/Payroll Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and helping ensure employees and vendors are paid accurately and on time.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping reviews, and payroll data entry.
- Support billing functions, including claims, invoices, and payment tracking.
- Verify employee hours, mileage, and payroll-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate billing and payroll records.
- Help resolve payroll discrepancies and billing questions promptly.
- Assist with reports, spreadsheets, and audits.
- Work closely with HR, leadership, and operations teams to support company needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Medicare and Medicaid hospice billing.
- Comfortable working with numbers and confidential information.
- Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
- Experience in payroll, billing, bookkeeping, or office administration preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
