Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN
Location: Spring, TX Area

At Concho Hearts Hospice, our On-Call Nurses provide comfort, support, and skilled care to patients and families when they need it most. Hospice nursing is about more than tasks; it’s about being present, providing reassurance, and helping patients receive compassionate care wherever they call home.
We are seeking a compassionate On-Call RN to support our patients and families in the Spring area.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to after-hours patient and family calls with compassion and professionalism.
- Triage patient concerns and determine appropriate interventions.
- Complete urgent patient visits as needed in homes or facilities.
- Provide symptom management and end-of-life nursing support.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR system.
- Support patients and families through education and guidance during after-hours care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Texas RN license.
- Hospice, home health, ER, ICU, or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
- Excellent communication and compassionate patient care skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
